Heart and Stroke Foundation – Canadian Partnership for Stroke Recovery

The Heart and Stroke Foundation Canadian Partnership for Stroke Recovery is a multi-site research centre, comprised of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Baycrest and the University of Ottawa/Ottawa Health Research Institute, in conjunction with the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The Centre has 19 core scientists, 45 associate members and six affiliate trainees, working  towards optimizing stroke recovery through the development of new treatments. Key research focuses include: exercise interventions to improve physical rehabilitation, cognitive rehabilitation, and molecular recovery.
